Franchising our model

We’re currently looking into how we can franchise the In-house Professional Development Partnership (IPDP), so that other people can use the model and materials that we have created free of charge.

We have already adapted the modules for for face-to-face use (they were originally designed for use with video conferencing software). Each module consists of three files – the Facilitator Notes and Slides for the person delivering the module and the Participant Pack for those taking it.

If you are unfamiliar with the IPDP, it is a school-based professional development programme that provides cost-effective, sustainable staff development. It’s a powerful blend of Open University expertise, combined with peer support and collaboration. Importantly, it’s a flexible model that is designed to support staff to achieve objectives that meet the needs of the individual school or institution. Follow the links below to find out more.
