Vital News 14 May 2010
This week has seen the third of our keynote discussions, on leading and managing ICT, and the start of a new Q&A with the team from Shireland Academy.
Log in to read the transcript of the keynote, hosted by ICT educational consultant Terry Freedman, or ask the Shireland team a question on how they have created a whole school learning platform to raise achievement levels across the curriculum.
If you’ve not yet registered, it only takes a few minutes, and gives you free access to the Vital community discussion forums as well as a range of online resources. Plus you’ll receive the latest edition of our newsletter, which is out today.
You can also browse our range of courses, which launch this month in the regions. Dates have already been confirmed in London, the South West and Yorkshire, and the other regions will be launching theirs next week. You can access the course materials themselves for free at any time.
There’s also a Teachmeet in Southampton on 17 May, followed by three in June – in Blackpool, Steventon and Norwich. Keep an eye out for more over the coming months.
Explore our regional pages to see what else is going on in your area, and please get in touch if you have suggestions on how Vital can help you get more out of ICT.
