Introduction
This course explores the stages in the development of a multimedia product from client brief to final delivery. It is relevant to all IT and ICT courses at Key Stages 4 and 5 that include website and web page creation, and use of multimedia.
Outline
Multimedia and website developers from industry will contribute to a one-day event, which will include workshops focusing on the stages of development, including use of animation, audio and video. Participants will have opportunities to develop ideas for multimedia projects to use with learners and will see learning resources that have been developed to support delivery of multimedia development in the classroom.
After the one-day event, participants will have opportunities to try out skills, projects and ideas gained from the day and share their experiences with fellow participants on a forum in the Vital community.

The first courses are being held in October 2010 and will run from 10 am to 3.30 pm including lunch.
