Introduction

This course explores how to use blogs to support teaching and curriculum-based activities, by helping Secondary school students make contributions, and share knowledge and ideas.

Outline

The course will cover:
•    how blogs and blogging software work
•    using blogs as part of classroom projects
•    guidelines and a code of conduct for blogs.

Outcomes

After completing the course, you’ll know how to:
•    create a personal and class blog
•    recognize where blogs can add value to student projects
•    help students use the blog effectively.
