Introduction
In this unit of the Diploma, learners develop an understanding of how organisations operate. This course will show you how to use the e-skills teaching and learning resources to help improve learners’ understanding and will give ideas and advice on how to engage employers with the Diploma.
Outline
The course will cover:
• accessing and using the e-skills teaching and learning resources in the e-skills Staffroom and on the Big Ambition website
• setting and measuring course activities
• engaging local employers to help improve learners’ understanding of organisations.
Outcomes
After completing the course, you’ll know how to:
• embed the e-skills resources into a delivery plan for the unit
• accurately assess learners’ performance, based on the awarding body’s criteria
• identify opportunities to work with local employers to help improve engagement.
