Trial Teachshares

Vital has teamed up with Elluminate Live! to bring audio and video conferencing to the Vital Community. Making use of Elluminate’s technology, which allows participants to talk to each other, share a whiteboard, or observe what is happening on each others’ screens, a TeachShare is anything from a meeting, discussion, or presentation, to a demonstration of a classroom technique. 

We are currently trialling Vital TeachShares - 30-minute sessions beginning with a practitioner’s experiences of using ICT within education, followed by a question and answer session.

Our first trial Teachshare, on the theme of Photo-Manipulation in the Classroom, will take place on 28 June from 4:00-4:30pm. The session will be hosted by Kirsten Muirhead and presented by Helen Caldwell. It will explore the use of green screen techniques, image manipulation tools and web resources, discussing what the issues are, what works and what doesn't. Please join us!
