Library

Our Library is full of useful information and advice about using ICT in the classroom, to help get you started and give you ideas on how to add value to your lessons.

The Vital Library also contains all the Vital Course materials we use to deliver our courses, so you can review the structure and content of a course before signing up for it. You’ll need to register to access the materials.

If you are interested in contributing materials to the Vital Library, you can create a ‘work in progress’ space to develop your ideas in one of the areas, such as Case studies or Springboards.

Getting started

Our Springboards are useful ‘nuggets’ on how to use technology in the classroom, while our Backgrounders have more of the background detail. Backgrounders provide that extra bit of technical knowhow.

ICT in action

Meet practitioners using ICT in an innovative way in our Showcase interviews, and browse our Case studies on how other schools are already using ICT to improve the learner experience.

Teach yourself

Dip in and out of the Library when you have a few moments, and browse the materials for the Vital Courses and OpenLearn to study independently.
