Alan Turing Centenary

This month's Teachshare features speakers with the sole aim of sharing ideas to use Alan Turing's centenary to inspire the next generation of great computational thinkers.

• Barry Cooper is the Chair of the Alan Turing Centenary and will be providing the context and sharing some of the events planned for 2012

• Simon Humphreys (Introductions not required) will be discussing the Codebreaker competition in association with Animation12

• Brian Cullen will then showcase some a fantastic set of bespoke resources designed to support teachers deliver Greenfoot programming lessons

• Then we hear from some teachers who are using such resources to teach programming

• Followed by an open forum for Q&A
