Teachmeet Essex 2012 is go!

Following on from the successful first Teachmeet Essex in 2010, this is another free event to showcase the excellent teaching and learning that is taking place in schools in Essex as well as the breakaway people’s republics of Southend and Thurrock. Teachers and friends from other areas are obviously more than welcome too!

Teachmeet Essex 2012 will take place on Tuesday 7th February 2012 at Wickford CLC. 5pm – 7pm (Wickford Collaborative Learning Centre, SS12 0LZ)

The Plymouth STEM TeachMeet is heading to LabPlus at the University of Plymouth.

LabPlus is a multi-disciplinary learning space on the university campus, open to any group interested in the sciences and perfect for our discussions on all things STEM enrichment-related.

The main part of any TeachMeet is hearing stories from teachers and other education professionals about what works in practice.

We want to know about what you do that makes your students interested in and excited about STEM - Science, Technology, Engineering and Maths.

Education professionals from all sectors are welcome to take part.

The main part of any TeachMeet is hearing stories from teachers and other education professionals about what works in practice. We want to know about what you do that makes your students interested in and excited about STEM - Science, Technology, Engineering and Maths.

This STEM TeachMeet takes place in the unique setting of the Science Museum at Wroughton - a former RAF airfield, and now home to over 200,000 objects from the Science Museum's fascinating collection.

Following the success of our previous Teacheats (CurryNE1, CurryNE2, CurryNE3 and CurryNE4), we are now venturing to another part of town for good food and good educational discussion.  

What is it? An opportunity to share ideas and discuss educational issues over a curry. 

Who is it for? Anyone who has an interest in schools and education.
