The In-house Professional Development Partnership is a collaborative programme, in which Vital works in partnership with your school to support effective professional development. Together we can impact on teaching and learning.
What do Vital provide?
- Vital Professional Programme
A structured process to plan and implement professional development in your school, complete with a handbook that can be adapted to your needs. - Modules
Open University quality modules, facilitated by experts and delivered online* at convenient times. - Subject portals
Subject specific guidance on using technology to add value to lessons and better engage learners. - Community
Access to a community, where staff can collaborate and share knowledge online. - Certification
Certification for your school and accreditation for a member of staff (subject to criteria being met).
* Delivered via webinar, an interactive video conference using Blackboard Collaborate
What do you provide?
- A member of staff to become a Vital Professional, an advocate for professional development in your institution.
- Objectives from your School Improvement Plan (SIP).
- Support from the senior leadership team.

What does it cost?
£600 for all state-funded schools in England.
£690 for all other schools and educational institutions.
